Simply ensure that the required fields are present on the suppliers pricing spreadsheet and Upload to the Utility.

Add additional records/rows to the spreadsheet for each quantity break that your supplier offers.

All these quantity breaks will be automatically added to Exo Business as additional alternate supplier records.

The Supplier Price Update Utility matches the Alternate Supplier product part number to the product code in the suppliers spreadsheet, But what happens if the number in Exo has an additional Space? or is missing a dash?

The Utility recognizes this an makes recommendations of matches for you to confirm.

Once you have confirmed the match Exo will be updated so on the next supplier price change the items will match automatically.

Before uploading a Price Change run filters to show items that are changing in price more than X percent, Either accept these changes or check with the supplier.

Likewise have any discounts increased? or has the supplier dropped the expected discount?

Quickly find any errors and rectify them with the Supplier before the price change is active.

Mark query products as “Skipped” so you can upload the correct items, This prevents the complete update being held up for a couple of lines that need resolving.

If the Supplier provides a list of products they are no-longer selling then add this to the spreadsheet and the items will be automatically discontinued in Exo Business.

You can also mark items to be discontinued in the utility after the spreadsheet has been loaded.

Note: if there is another Supplier for this product then the product is not marked as “Discontinued” but the “Price Update Supplier” is removed from the Alternate Suppplier list.

Prioritize items to update by filtering on Exo data.

• Last Year Sales
• Primary Group
• Secondary Group
• Price Group

All deleted Alternate Supplier Data is moved to an archive table where it can be retrieved and/or reported on if required.

Documents that are loaded into the Exo Supplier Price Updater Utility are stored in an “Originals” folder for historical record.

They are also coped into an “Edited” folder and these are the documents that will be worked on over the update.

If there is ever any dispute over pricing you have the Original documents saved.

Add a Note to a Supplier with details of any specific steps to updating.

Note: this is saved as a task/activity of a Type “Creditor Price update Note”.

If your Supplier has a “Flat Rate Percentage” increase, Simply enter the percentage and press “Upload”.

Are there items in Exo Business that don’t appear in the Suppliers Spreadsheet?

Simple select the rows, Right click and choose “Email to Supplier”.

An Email will open with the selected lines in an excel attachment ready to send to the Supplier. (If the Supplier enters the new prices into the spreadsheet then it can be simply loaded back into the Supplier Price Update Utility)

Simply include a column for both the New and Old part numbers and the Supplier Price Updater will Update Exo Business Supplier part numbers to the new numbers.
